Hansel and Gretel appeared today for their final fitting. The lederhosen bribe worked!
I love 4-year-olds!

Gretel was not cooperating for this photo shoot. Hansel's patience is running thin.

Hansel and Gretel find their path and they both make their escape.

These costumes turned out absolutely adorable! I LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteThese turned out soooo cute--great job on them!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the Fall Festival!
They look like little Hummel children, don't they? I'm pleased with the way the lederhosen turned out. I had to make the suspenders and chest piece myself. I found quilt binding in dark brown for the straps, which seems to work well.
ReplyDeleteKID 2's apron was a pillow sham in its previous life (a Care Center find) that I cut and gathered at the top, then sewed the sash on as the binding. The eyelet lace on the sham was perfect for an apron!
